The Shakespeare Hall

The school has a library, named after William Shakespeare, one of the finest playwrights and poets, of the Elizabethan Era, that aims to satiate the curiosity of the young minds, who have just begun to question the world around them. The Shakespeare Hall provides the Carolites with the adequate atmosphere to juice up their I.Q.’s & gives them the opportunity to learn something new each working day, other than their own curriculum.

The Shakespeare Hall has been designed and structured to provide the students with a purposeful atmosphere for study and intellectually creative thoughts.

The library resources boast of modern day Literature classics, best-sellers, encyclopedias and informative periodicals and magazines like Yojana, Kurukshetra & The Science Reporter.

The library also has a vast repository of E-Books, keeping in sync with the modern 21st century technological advancements on various subjects and issues.

The Charles Babbage Room

The school has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, named after a brilliant Mathematician and Mechanical Engineer, who originated the concept of a digital programmable computer.

The Charles Babbage Room has ample number of workstations with the latest specifications to cater to the needs of Carolites. The students have regular access to the laboratory under the supervision of their subject teachers, for gaining the practical knowledge that helps them understand the theoretical part in a better way, so that they don’t have to go for “rote-learning.”

The laboratory also has Wi-Fi access, for the students and teachers, with safe search filters on at all times for constant supervision. The use of search engines online, under the supervision of their subject teachers, helps the Carolites with their project work as well.

The Darwin Room

The school has a properly structured Biology Laboratory, named after the famous English Biologist, Charles Robert Darwin, who came up with The Theory of Evolution in his book “On the Origin of Species.”

The Darwin Room has a host of biological specimens and 3D models to keep the students interested in the subject. It also includes a Human Skeleton Fiber model that helps them understand the functioning of the various Organ Systems.

The Einstein Room

The school has a well-equipped Physics Laboratory, named after the German-born theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein who developed the Theory of Relativity and was best known to the general public for his Mass-Energy Equivalence formula E=mc^2.

The Einstein Room has all the Apparatus needed for the practicals covered under ICSE curriculum. The Laboratory is well-faceted with Ammeters, Rheostats, Voltmeters, Tuning Forks, Magnets, Lens’, Kaleidoscopes, Astronomical Telescope along with working models of Electric Motor, Electric Bell and other necessary prescribed apparatus.

The Mendeleev Room

The school has a fully-functional Chemistry Laboratory, named after the Russian Chemist, Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev, credited with formulating the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.

The Mendeleev Room has a well updated stock of a variety of chemical compounds, apparatus used & other Chemistry kits, to cater to the subject’s intricacies. The Chemical compounds and all the practicals are conducted under the supervision of the subject teacher only. Hand Gloves are worn at all times by the students while handling the compounds.

The Tansen Room

The school has a well-equipped Music Room, named after The Mughal king Akbar’s court musician, Tansen who is remembered for his Dhrupad compositions and other valuable contributions to Hindustani Classical Music.

The Tansen Room has a wide range of Musical Instruments like Tabla, Harmonium, Congo, Banjo, Guitar & Drums to satiate the palate of our Carolites. For the purpose of Morning or Noon assemblies (under Project Dhoop) and special celebrations during In-House School festivities, the school also has a State-of-The-Art BOSE sound system that has an electric presence.

Multipurpose Indoor Activity Room

The school also has a multipurpose indoor activity area, where we have carom boards, chess boards, Table Tennis, Foosball tables to rejuvenate the minds and spirits of Carolites.

The Florence Nightingale Infirmary

The school has an Infirmary which tends to the sick students. Its named after, Florence Nightingale, who was an English social reformer and the founder of Modern Nursing. She was a trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, which earned her the moniker, “The Lady with the Lamp.”

The Infirmary is well stocked with latest medicines & the first aid kits. It also has a wheelchair & oxygen cylinder for emergencies.
